Personal Tracts
Personal tracts are a great way to give people information about the good news of Jesus. They often contain personal testimony of what God has done. You can give a personal tract to someone you strike up a conversation with in a pub or your best mate. The worst that can happen is it ends up in the bin.
A personal tract contains your church contact details and possibly your own personal email address. Giving the recipient every opportunity to follow up on your discussion (no matter how brief).

Nick Sharp (of Grace Church Nottingham) kindly provided his personal tract as an example. It gives a great idea of the sort of information you can include.

When you write a personal tract it is a good idea to get it checked over before printing loads. Why not give a few to your good non-Christian mates and ask them to proof read it. Then ask if they could understand it and ask if they can suggest any changes you should make - great way to test out your tract and build up conversations skills around it.
If you have a different template and wish to share it with the world please email it to us (see the contact us page). Also if you have any encouraging stories of God using personal tracts we'd love to hear them.
